Radio Stations by Language
Data refreshed 9 October 2026
Radio is one of the best ways to hear a language as people really speak it. This page shows which languages stations broadcast in, which countries have the most of them, and a few of the most-played stations in each language to try first.
How to read these numbers. They describe the working stations with a secure (HTTPS) stream that we sampled (up to the 300 most-played per country). Only stations whose listing names a language are counted, and a station that broadcasts in two languages is counted under both. Treat them as a guide to where each language is well covered, not as a census.
